It seems like Xiaomi is finally all set to unveil its much-awaited Xiaomi 13 series in China on December 1; the company announced it via its official Weibo channel. Along with the Xiaomi 13 series, the company will unveil the latest version of MIUI – i.e., MIUI 14 based on Android 13 and some new products – Xiaomi Watch S2, a New Router, the First Xiaomi Desktop computer, Xiaomi Projector, and Xiaomi Buds 4 TWS. There are two phones under the Xiaomi 13 series – The vanilla Xiaomi 13, and Xiaomi 13 Pro, unlike last year, Xiaomi 12 series, which had Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X & 12 Pro! There’s no 13X this time. Apart from announcing the launch date for the upcoming 13 series & other products that it will be launching. The company also shared some information about the upcoming series. As per the teasers, the Xiaomi 13 will have a flat OLED panel with 1.61mm side bezels and 1.81mm top & bottom bezels, and the handset will be 71.5mm wide, which will make it easy to use with one hand. The Xiaomi 13 features a 6.26 with a 2K resolution & Qualcomm Snapdragon Gen 2 & 50MP + 13mp + 8MP cameras up to 12GB RAM & 256GB storage, and a 4500mAh battery with 67W fast charging. IP68 rated! As for the Xiaomi 13 Pro, it features a 6.67-inch LTPO OLED panel with 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon Gen 2 & up to 12GB RAM & 512GB storage, Triple rear cameras – 50MP Sony 1inch sensor + 50MP Ultra-wide & 50MP Telephoto lens, and 32MP front camera. 4800mAh battery with 120W fast charging Surge C2 & P2 chips, Leica color science, MIUI 14 based on Android 13. IP68 rated.
Xiaomi 13 Series Pricing & Availability
Well as of now, there’s no information about the pricing of the upcoming 13 series, Although it is expected to price a little higher than the 12 series. As for India, the Xiaomi 13 was recently spotted on the BIS listing, so we expect Xiaomi 13 to launch in Q1 of 2023. Well, this is all for now! Just a couple of days left before the official launch.
